Me? I did have my gown. Got my own designer and entrusted him to make my "IT" gown.
Just to be honest, (with myself and to those who will ever find time to read this blog entry) my bridal gown was a bit of disappointment for me. It didn't turn out the way I want it to be. :-(
I always wanted to wear a simple wedding gown. No too much accessories, beads, ruffles, etc...I just want design on the breast area and no bead work from waist downward. Something that should look similar to this:
And I did get one...yes I did! But not that super simple that I felt I was wearing just a cloth. Very minimal bead work that was so so far from what my designer and I agreed upon. So simple that I felt gowns found in divisoria are far more sophisticated or stylish than mine. :-(
*Sigh* I will not talk about it anymore. I will spare the details. I don’t want to recall the feeling it brought me nor talk trash about my designer. I am now settled. But I think it would have become a gown that I envisioned and dreamed of if my dress was only given enough focus, time and attention. In fairness, He actually did a good job for my bridesmaids, our flower girls, our mothers and to my groom. Unfortunately, he failed to deliver what is expected on the gown of the supposed to be star of the day. I will just have to give another deep “SIGH” on this.

But very far from what I want right? So I wasn't really comfortable about it that's why during reception, I just unzipped it and hide it inside that my back looked even better w/o that transparent cloth.

But luckily, I was able to pull the day and not allowed my gown mess our wedding day. Bottomline, I was still a pretty, happy bride. ^__^
