Buntis 04: Getting Bigger

Yey! Finally, I can continue reading "Shopaholic & Baby"!!! A (a.k.a hubby) find a way to get me a copy. He downloaded it from the web. (Ssssshhh!!! I know it's another form of piracy. Sorry Sophie, I can't buy another copy of the book. I'm afraid, I might lost it again. :P)

.........

I started doing little exercise for the back just to ease the pain I'm having and I believe, It works. Thanks to WTE (What to Expect) book! (O yan ha, tama na! *wink*) It helps a lot!

.........

And each day, I must admit, I'm getting bigger or the belly itself. Last Saturday, I hit 122lbs. An additional 2lbs in just a week. Hmmmm...I gained almost 10lbs now starting from my pre-pregnancy weight of 112lbs. Not bad for me who is already at my 19th week.

I started to feel the baby moves on my 18th week. Little movements specially at night when I am resting and about to sleep. I can still remember from my last check up dated Feb 5, how our OB says that our little Tria is so "likot". We heard how fast the baby's heart beats was and sounds like "wow-wow-wow-wow". From one blink, our OB will trace the baby again and roll the fetoscope around my belly just to keep track. A and I were both happy hearing it again.

Well, I am scheduled for a congenital scan by the end of the month. This scan is carried out in order to look for any abnormalities in the baby’s structural development (from head to foot) and growth, and to check the position of the placenta and by then, we will know if we are having a boy or girl. Yey! So excited!!!

Obviously, I want a baby girl, but A is more of wanting a boy. But then, gender is the least of our concerns now. All we want is for our little one to be healthy and normal.

Excited to see you Baby!!!

Buntis 03: It happened Twice :-(

Twice!!! And it ain't no good.

1. Put to bed rest twice! : I'm on my 2nd week now. So far, so good. The pain in my lower back has lessen and happens very seldom now since Feb. 1. I still need much rest and sleep during day time to avoid those pain on my hips.

2. Lost a Sophie Kinsella book, twice!: The first one was "Shopaholic Ties the Knot. And now, it's Shopaholic & Baby. Oh! this pregnancy is making me more and more "ulyanin". Sometimes, I don't remember what happened or where I put my stuff. It's like "memory gap".
I do remember events but it's like a puzzle with the missing piece and all I can tell my husband is "Sorry, I can't remember." According to WTE (What To Expect), it is called Pregnancy Brain.

Pregnancy Brain — What It Is

Pregnancy-induced brain fog, a true (and truly frustrating) hallmark of pregnancy. You may forget appointments, what you just walked into the store for, where you left your purse, whether you turned off the stove — and maybe, your phone number.

Pregnancy Brain — What Causes It

As usual in pregnancy, it's just your pregnancy hormones having some fun, this time at the expense of your memory. And believe it or not, your brain-cell volume actually decreases during the third trimester of pregnancy (which could explain why you can't remember what you just read about in that last paragraph). Not to worry, your brain will plump back up a few months after delivery.

Pregnancy Brain — What You Need to Know

First of all, pregnancy forgetfulness is completely normal — and extremely common. It's also temporary — you'll have total recall again long before you start to have your "senior moments." And try not to be too hard on yourself, as stress will only cloud your pregnancy brain even more.

Because of this pregnancy brain, I lost this book -->
I don't want to buy a new book...for now. But I'm almost half way and excited to find out more about the story. Hay! Hopefully, I can find a way to finish this.

I don't want to start this one...because "Shopaholic & Baby" is sort of a prelude to "Mini Shopaholic". Aaarrrggghhh!!! I need to finish Shopaholic & Baby first.

For now, I have to get my eyes busy watching TV, read WTF book, do some net surfing and etc...just to kill time and keep my sanity in place.
